FOOD INTOLERANCE TESTING
Food Intolerance Testing & Personalised Gut-Health Support
Stop second-guessing your symptoms and start understanding what your body may be trying to tell you
Are you constantly bloated, struggling with digestive discomfort or experiencing stubborn skin flare-ups—even though you’re doing your best to eat well?
Perhaps certain meals leave you feeling uncomfortable, sluggish or simply “not quite right,” but you cannot work out which foods might be contributing.
A food intolerance test can offer helpful insight into how your body is currently responding to more than 200 food and drink ingredients.
But the test is only the beginning.
My approach looks beyond a list of reactive foods. We will explore your results alongside your symptoms, current diet, health history and lifestyle before creating a personalised protocol designed to support your gut and overall health.
This Is More Than a Food Intolerance Test
Food reactivity results do not necessarily identify the underlying cause of your health concerns.
They can, however, provide useful clues about foods that may currently be contributing to your symptoms or placing additional pressure on an already sensitive digestive system.
That is why I consider testing to be part one of the process - not the whole solution.
Rather than simply handing you a list of foods to remove, I will help you understand:
-
What your results mean
-
How they may relate to your symptoms
-
Which foods may need to be removed temporarily
-
How to make changes without unnecessarily restricting your diet
-
How to nourish and support your digestive system
-
Whether appropriate nutritional supplementation may be helpful
-
How and when foods may be carefully reintroduced
The long-term goal is not to leave you with an increasingly restricted diet. It is to support your gut health, improve dietary variety and help you feel more confident about the foods you eat.

How the Process Works
1. We Begin With You
While your test is being delivered, completed and returned to the laboratory, we will begin looking at your current diet, symptoms, health history and lifestyle.
This helps me understand the wider picture rather than viewing your results in isolation.
2. You Complete Your Test at Home
Your kit will be delivered directly to you. You will collect a small finger-prick blood sample at home and return it to the laboratory using the instructions provided.
3. Your Results Are Analysed
Your results are presented using a straightforward traffic-light system:
-
🔴 High reactivity
-
🟠 Borderline reactivity
-
🟢 Normal reactivity
4. We Create Your Personalised Protocol
During your results consultation, I will explain your findings clearly and consider them alongside your symptoms, diet and health history.
We will then create a realistic, personalised plan that may include:
-
Temporary removal of highly reactive foods
-
Suitable food swaps and alternatives
-
Support for digestive health and dietary variety
-
Balanced meals to maintain adequate nutrition
-
Lifestyle recommendations
-
Carefully selected supplements, where appropriate
-
A future food-reintroduction strategy
5. We Review Your Progress
Approximately four weeks later, we will meet for a follow-up consultation to discuss your symptoms, progress and any difficulties you have experienced.
Your plan can then be adjusted, and we can discuss the appropriate next steps, including when and how to begin reintroducing foods.
Could This Be Right for You?
This package may be helpful if you regularly experience:
-
Bloating or discomfort after eating
-
IBS-type symptoms, including cramps, urgency or unpredictable digestion
-
Acne, eczema, psoriasis or other recurring skin concerns
-
Nausea, heaviness or discomfort following meals
-
Fatigue or sluggishness
-
Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
-
Headaches or sinus congestion
-
Aching joints
-
Changes in mood or motivation
-
A general feeling that something is “not quite right”
These symptoms can have many different causes, which is why your test results will always be considered as part of your wider health picture.
Testing does not replace medical assessment. New, persistent, severe or unexplained symptoms should always be discussed with your GP.
A Holistic Approach - Not Another Restrictive Diet
This is not about labelling foods as “good” or “bad”, removing large food groups indefinitely or following an unnecessarily restrictive diet.
Reactive foods may be contributing to symptoms, but they are not automatically the root cause of your health concerns.
My approach is to use your results as one source of information while also considering:
-
Your digestive health
-
Your current eating habits
-
The variety and quality of your diet
-
Stress and lifestyle factors
-
Your health and symptom history
-
Nutrient intake
-
Any existing medical conditions or medications
Together, we will create a manageable plan that supports your body without making food feel complicated or frightening.
Personal Support From Start to Finish
You will not be left alone with a laboratory report and a long list of foods to avoid.
I will guide you through your results, answer your questions and help you make changes that work in real life.
You will receive clarity, reassurance and a structured plan, without unnecessary restriction or overwhelm.

Important Information
-
This is a food intolerance test and does not diagnose a food allergy.
-
If you suspect an immediate food allergy, particularly if you experience swelling, breathing difficulties, wheezing or a rapid reaction after eating, please seek appropriate medical advice.
-
The test is not intended to diagnose medical conditions or replace advice from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional.
-
It is not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
-
It is suitable for children aged two and over. Testing children under two would require specific medical guidance.
-
Steroids and immunosuppressant medication may affect the results.
-
You should continue eating your usual diet before testing unless you have been medically advised to avoid a particular food. Foods that have already been excluded may not produce a measurable response.
-
Please do not reintroduce a food before testing if you have previously experienced a suspected allergic or serious reaction to it.
-
Supplement recommendations are made only where appropriate and will take your health history and medication into consideration.

If you order during the weekend, I will contact you on the following Monday.
You will receive:
-
Your welcome pack
-
A health and diet questionnaire
-
A consent form
-
Instructions explaining the next steps
Your completed consent form and the required personal details must be returned before I can order your test from the laboratory.
